Moringa herb offers many benefits to humans, some studies have shown that some of them benefit sexual health, but more research is still needed, to determine its health.
In the following report, The Consulto reviews the benefits and potential harms of moringa for sex, according to Healthline.
Moringa Benefits for Men
1- Promote prostate health
Moringa plays a huge role in promoting prostate health, due to its high content of glucosinolates, compounds that have anti-cancer properties.
This was confirmed by a study, which indicated that glucosinolate compounds provide protection for men against prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is not the only disease that Moringa prevents, as a study revealed that it also helps reduce the risk of age-related benign prostatic hyperplasia.
2- Treatment of erectile dysfunction
The Moringa herb is characterized by its high content of polyphenols, which in turn helps improve the flow of oxygen-laden blood to the penis, by stimulating the body to produce nitric oxide, which reduces the chances of erectile dysfunction.
In some studies, researchers found that Moringa extract inhibited enzymes associated with erectile dysfunction, high blood pressure, and decreased nitric oxide levels in lab mice.
And a previous study found that Moringa extract helps relax the smooth muscles in the penis of healthy mice and relieve sexual weakness in diabetic mice.
However, the effect of Moringa on humans has not been tested in this regard so far.
3- Increase fertility
Moringa herb may help to increase fertility in men, thanks to its high content of antioxidants, which combat free radicals, which hinder the production of sperm by the testicles of animals.
And some studies conducted on mice and rabbits showed that the extract of the moringa herb prevents the loss of sperm, due to high heat, chemotherapy or electromagnetic radiation emitted from mobile phones.

Does Moringa have side effects?
Studies have not reported any side effects experienced by people who took 50 grams of moringa powder, which makes this herb largely safe.
However, a study reported that Moringa lowered testosterone levels in mice, which means that men are prone to this problem, which causes low libido and erectile dysfunction.
Therefore, it is best to consult a specialist before taking it, especially in the case of high blood pressure or diabetes.
